About the WSPTSA
Our Mission
We will create, in partnership with the Washington State
Patrol Troopers, a caring and supportive environment promoting unity and well
being which shall benefit all Troopers and their families.
Purpose
The purpose of the Washington State Patrol Trooper Spouses
Association is to provide support and education on law enforcement family issues
by creating opportunities for unity and friendship across the State Patrol and
by reaching out to State Patrol Families in need.
Objective
The objective of the Washington State Patrol Trooper
Spouses Association is to provide support and friendship to WSP Troopers
Families. We are uniting as friends in good times and bad to form a stronger
family community within the State Patrol.
Membership
Any spouse, significant other, or immediate family member
(sibling, parent or child) of a commissioned Washington State Patrol
officer, regardless of rank, shall be permitted membership to this organization.

A few things we are
involved in
•
Cadet Spouse Orientation at the academy
•
Welfare checks for families in need; Financial
assistance, childcare, meal delivery, etc.
•
Direct connection to the patrol - questions can
usually be answered the same day
•
Crisis training in cooperation with Dr. Clark and
the CISM network - Critical Incident Teams
•
Care packages for the deployed WSP military
•
Annual summer picnics - East/West side
•
Other activities as planned by the district rep's
•
A place for spouses to go that are in need of
information, support, friendship, you name it!
